Shawn Quella Honored at Excellence in Education Banquet

Shawn Quella of Appleton, Wis., one of the top 25 graduating seniors based on grade-point average, was honored for the 2011-12 academic year at the 49th annual Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Education banquet.

Quella majored in golf enterprise management.

High school and postsecondary students from Dunn County were recognized at the banquet.

Commencement was May 12.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, is a special mission university in the UW System. The university has a long-standing reputation of serving business, industry, education and the helping professions through its specialized educational programs.
