Patrick Carpenter Ambassador to American Resort Development Association World Conference

Patrick Carpenter, of Eagan, Minn., recently served as a student ambassador at the American Resort Development Association World Conference in Las Vegas.

Carpenter is majoring in hotel, restaurant and tourism in the School of Hospitality Leadership at University of Wisconsin-Stout.

With 19 other students, Carpenter assisted ARDA in running a successful conference by helping with the golf outing, registration, distribution of handouts, educational sessions and as aides for the VIP Lounge. In exchange for their assistance, students were able to attend educational and general sessions.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, is a special mission university in the UW System. The university has a long-standing reputation of serving business, industry, education and the helping professions through its specialized educational programs.
