Laura Mertes Receives Chancellor's Award from University of Wisconsin-Stout

Laura Mertes of Chanhassen received the Chancellor's Award for the fall semester at University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Mertes, majoring in Hotel Restaurant and Tourism, Golf Enterprise Mgmt Specializ, is a graduate of Chaska Senior High School.

The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, is a special mission university in the UW System. The university has a long-standing reputation of serving business, industry, education and the helping professions through its specialized educational programs.

Enrollment this year is 9,357.
