Kaitlyn Hafeman receives state restaurant award

Kaitlyn Hafeman of Madison Wis., was honored at the Wisconsin Restaurant Association’s annual Celebration of Excellence banquet Oct. 13 in Wausau at the Jefferson Street Inn.

Hafeman, majoring in hotel, restaurant and tourism management, received Society Insurance Scholarship and Magnificent 7 Scholarship.

A total of 26 students attending postsecondary institutions in Wisconsin will receive $35,000 in scholarships from the WRA’s Education Foundation.

The hotel, restaurant and tourism management major is part of the UW-Stout School of Hospitality Leadership.
