Joe Yang receives transfer scholarship from UW-Stout

Joe Yang, of St. Paul, Minn., received the Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship for the 2014-15 school year.

Yang transferred from Dunwoody College in Minneapolis. and will receive $2,500 . Yang will major in manufacturing engineering.

The university offers the scholarship for students who transfer directly from two-year colleges and are members of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. In addition, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25, have been accepted to UW-Stout and have submitted an essay by June 16.
