Amy Loberg Receives UW-Stout Scholarship

Amy Loberg of Berthoud, Colo., received the John Carter Family Memorial Scholarship. Loberg is majoring in Human Development and Family Studies.

Scholarships valued at more than $580,000 were awarded to 303 UW-Stout students this year through the Stout University Foundation at a reception on campus Sept. 13. Many of the scholarship donors personally presented the awards.

Established in 1962, the Stout University Foundation Scholarship Program has helped more than 7,400 students receive a college education. Through the financial support of alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the university the program has awarded more than $9.5 million.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, is a special mission university in the UW System. The university has a long-standing reputation of serving business, industry, education and the helping professions through its specialized educational programs.
