Amanda Blough Qualifies for Chancellors Scholarship

Amanda Blough of Hortonville, Wis., has been accepted at University of Wisconsin-Stout for fall 2013 and has been awarded the Chancellors Scholarship in the amount of $4,500; $3,000 for the freshman year and $1,500 for the sophomore year.
To qualify Blough meets the following conditions: is in the top 10 percent of graduating class, or has a 3.5 GPA for high schools that do not rank with an ACT score of at least 26, or an equivalent SAT score.
Blough is a student at Hortonville High School and is considering majoring in Early Childhood Education.
UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, is a special mission university in the UW System. The university has a long-standing reputation of serving business, industry, education and the helping professions through its specialized educational programs. UW-Stout has a 98 percent placement rate for its graduates.
Enrollment this year is approximately 9,350.
